Where is the new I’m A Celebrity hotel?

The new I’m A Celebrity hotel is the JW Marriott Gold Coast. It replaces the shamelessly blingy Palazzo Versace, which was the base for previous seasons. It’s only a five minute drive away, but there’s a very different vibe.

The JW Marriott Gold Coast is a lot more toned down and, dare we say it, classier. The hotel is in Surfers Paradise. The décor goes for simple white-heavy minimalism most of the time, and relies on quality of bedding and marble bathrooms rather than glitz and sparkle. The overall vibe is, therefore, much more relaxed.

The new I’m A Celebrity hotel also offers an outdoor freshwater pool, which has a slide winding into it. There are also saltwater lagoons around the resort.
