Bright Splash Park bucket

The design of this Bright water park nods to the region’s mining heritage. The centrepiece of the Bright Splash Park is a big tipping bucket that looks like an old gold-dredging bucket. It fills slowly, then tips over, unleashing a big sudden downpour over a large section of the playground.

However, there are several other aspects of the Bright Splash Park that keep children entertained. There are graduated splash pads designed to suit children of different ages – teenagers and toddlers have enough to keep them interested. There are also geysers, ground sprays, water cannons, a giant mushroom and hoop-shaped sprinklers.
