Treetops Ourimbah, NSW: Why try this Central Coast zip line?

Treetops Ourimbah, NSW: Why try this Central Coast zip line?

TreeTops Central Coast in Ourimbah, NSW, offers the world’s longest rollercoaster zip lines and an obstacle course between the trees.

Ourimbah, NSW, is not the sexiest part of the Central Coast. It’s inland, just off the Pacific Motorway. Most people going to the Central Coast will be more interested in the likes of MacMasters Beach, Terrigal and Forresters Beach. But if you’re on the drive north from Sydney to Port Macquarie (or Sydney to Coffs Harbour), Ourimbah is worth a look.

Things to do in Ourimbah, NSW

Things to do in Ourimbah largely revolve around the green spaces. The Forest of Tranquility, Bill Sohier Park and Ourimbah State Forest are all perfectly pleasant.

But the main attraction anyone would specifically travel to Ourimbah for is TreeTops Central Coast. This adventure park is only just in Ourimbah. It’s right at the north-eastern edge of the township, and part of the Ourimbah State Forest. TreeTops Central Coast gives its address as part of Wyong Creek. This isn’t strictly accurate, and the best turn-off the Pacific Motorway is at Alison, but this is nit-picking.

What is TreeTops Central Coast?

TreeTops Central Coast is like the other TreeTops adventure parks in Korora, Coffs Harbour, and the Cumberland State Forest in West Pennant Hills, Sydney.

Before tackling the adventure courses, participants are given instruction and taken through how the equipment works. Then you’re self-guided, tackling cargo nets, zip lines, wobbly bridges and rope ladders. For adults, the cost of entry to the Central Coast Treetop Adventure Park is $51.
