Clancy’s Fish Bar at City Beach is an offshoot of the original in Fremantle’s Fishing Boat Harbour. Fish and chips is the staple in Fremantle, but Clancy’s City Beach pushes its wider menu a lot more.

The Beach Bar at Clancy’s City Beach opens early, serving up coffee and a breakfast menu. These breakfast options include lupin & coconut granola with Swan Valley honey, yoghurt, summer fruit compote, fresh berries for $15. You can also try mushroom bruschetta with smashed avocado, rocket, lemon, feta, toasted turkish bread and dukkah for $21.

But let’s face it, the reason you come to Clancy’s Fish Bar at City Beach is the seafood. And there are plenty of options on that front. You can try the Crumbed whiting tacos with chipotle sauce, charred corn, slaw, pickled onion and coriander for $25. Or maybe the Spicy moqueca seafood stew with tomato, peppers, coriander, chilli, coconut cream, fresh lime, flatbread for $32. But most are going to go for fish and chips. Fresh market fish is sold at market price, while you can also partner up your chips with grilled barramundi or beer-battered snapper.
