The drive to Dunsborough starts out along the Bussell Highway, essentially following the curve of Geographe Bay. It goes past the Sandy Bay Holiday Park and Abbey Beach Resort on the way to Abbey Beach, where the Bussell Highway turns south. You need to keep going in the same direction along Caves Road.

The route then skirts the northern edge of the Locke Nature Reserve. It continues through Siesta Park, Marybrook and Quindalup. Flametree Wines is in Marybrook, if you fancy a spot of wine-tasting, while Quindalup is where Dunsborough Jetski Tours departs from.

There are several things to do in Dunsborough once you arrive. These include whale-watching tours on Geographe Bay, paddleboarding at Meelup Beach and visiting the brewery in neighbouring Eagle Bay.
