Kooralbyn attractions: Kooralbyn Valley resort

The Kooralbyn Resort doesn’t have the most prestigious of histories. It was ambitious when work started in 1979, mixing a golf course, villas and all manner of leisure facilities. However, it never took off quite as well as the developers hoped, and it spent a long time in liquidation.

Since 2016, the Kooralbyn Resort has had a new lease of life. After several changes of ownership, it is now known as the Kooralbyn Valley. Bookings can be made online.

Most visitors to Kooralbyn will be staying at the Kooralbyn Valley, which will act as a satellite village for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.
