National Parks between Canberra and Narooma

The Canberra to Batemans Bay leg of the journey then gets rather twisty, as it passes between two mountainous national parks.

Monga National Park tends to appeal to horse riders rather than walkers, but the Corn Trail Track along mountain ridges makes for a challenging 16km hike.

Budawang National Park, meanwhile, lies to the north. Once the Highway comes down towards the coast, it runs through Nelligen, which has a Big 4 holiday park, then crosses the Clyde River over the Batemans Bay Bridge.
