Brisbane to Bundaberg road trip: Distance, drive time & best stops

The Brisbane to Bundaberg drive is 361km in distance, with a 4h13m driving time. Good road trip stops include the Aussie World theme park and the Story Bank in Maryborough.

The Brisbane to Bundaberg drive is usually seen as one leg of a longer road trip up the Queensland coast. There are plenty of things to see and do around Bundaberg, but it is generally not seen as a destination in its own right. Most will look to stop in the likes of Noosa or Hervey Bay along the way.

But Bundaberg offers rum distillery tours, Lady Musgrave Island day trips, ginger beer brewery tastings and farm experiences

Australia Travel Questions has guides to the Brisbane to Noosa and Brisbane to Hervey Bay road trips. Pay them a visit if planning overnight stops on the way to Bundaberg.

Assuming that you wouldn’t be here otherwise, this particular guide concentrates on the direct Brisbane to Bundaberg drive. We’ve included Brisbane to Bundaberg road trip attractions that are near the direct route, rather than in the coastal sections of the Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast.
