Otherwise, you continue over the Clarence River, past Bundjalung National Park. If you choose to spend a bit of time here, you can try kayaking and canoeing along the Esk and Evans rivers, plus a series of walking trails. The ten minute walk to the Iluka Bluff Lookout offers a quick photo stop, and the 6km Jerusalem Creek Peninsula track from the Black Rocks campground is more of a work out.

At Woodburn, you turn off the Pacific Highway along the fairly dull Wyrallah Road, past the Tucki Tucki Nature Reserve.

North of Wyrallah, you head past the Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens and drive into the town from the south.

Things to do in Lismore include swimming in the art deco Lismore Memorial Baths and pootling along aboard the miniature train in Heritage Park.
