Goondiwindi to Coonabarabran road trip: Mount Kaputar and Narrabri

The next town is Narrabri, but there’s a lovely little detour option to Mount Kaputar National Park beforehand. The walking trails around Sawn Rocks and Waa Gorge are thoroughly enjoyable. You’ll also get good birdwatching and mountain views around Mount Kaputar itself.

Things to do in Narrabri include the Australia Telescope Compact Array and the Narrabri Old Gaol and Museum.
