Sydney to Nowra drive: Kiama

South of Wollongong, the Princes Highway goes through Albion Park, passes surfer hotspot Killalea Beach and heads into Kiama.

One of the most enjoyable spots on the entire New South Wales South Coast, Kiama is known for the Kiama Blowhole, where the ocean explodes through a hole in the rocks. Nearby, you can swim at the Blowhole Point Ocean Pool. The Bombo Headland, with its weird basalt columns, is worth a visit, too.

Kiama accommodation options include the handily central Nova Kiama, the rather fancy Sebel Harbourside Kiama and the rather cheaper Surf Beach Holiday Park.
