How big is the Fremantle ferris wheel?
The Tourist Wheel Fremantle, to give it the name virtually no-one actually uses, is 40 metres high. That’s a relative tiddler – half the size of the original Ferris wheel in Chicago, and less than a third as high as the London Eye.
You do, however, get lovely views of Fremantle and the Indian Ocean from the top.

The Tourist Wheel Fremantle is in Esplanade Park, opposite Fishing Boat Harbour. It was erected in Fremantle in 2013, and has 40 enclosed gondolas. Rides last seven to eight minutes.
The Fremantle ferris wheel operates between 09.00 and 21.00 every day apart from Saturdays and Sundays, when it runs between 09.00 and 21.00.
