How high is the Cairns bungy jump?
The Cairns bungy jump at Skypark Cairns involves climbing up to a specially-constructed platform, 50 metres above the rainforest. Specifically, Australia’s only bungy jump is elevated above a natural lagoon. If you choose to, you can dip your head and hands in the water when the bungy cord reaches full extension.
There’s a somewhat bewildering menu of 16 jump styles to choose from. This is aimed at people who have bungy experience and want to try something different. The vast majority of jumpers, however, will stand on the edge and either jump or lean forward until they fall.
