Bayview Park Baths

Everyone else, though, is more likely to be interested in the newly reopened Bayview Park Baths. This new river swimming area is a hark back to the past. The previous swimming enclosure at Bayview Park was closed in the 1960s due to the level of pollution in the Parramatta River. However, the river is much cleaner these days.

Therefore, the project to bring a swimming enclosure back to Bayview Park began, and the official reopening of the Bayview Park Baths was on November 11, 2022.

The swimming site on this river beach is managed by the City of Canada Bay, and there are shark nets in place to protect swimmers.
