How big is Continental Pool, Wollongong?
Continental Pool, Wollongong, isn’t just one pool – it’s a complex of pools. There’s a 50 metre pool, a 45 metre pool and a smaller pool aimed at toddlers. This gives plenty of space for hardcore lane swimming without those who just want to splash and play feeling crowded out.
The 45 metre pool has a ramp, making it more suitable for those with limited mobility.
Wollongong Continental Pool entry fees
Aside from the setting and the size, another major selling point for the Wollongong Continental Pool is that there is no entry charge. Visitors can just rock off, strip down to their swimming gear and jump in.
Facilities include toilets, changing rooms, showers and free public WiFi.
Continental Pool opening hours
Continental Pool is open from 6am to 6pm, Thursday to Tuesday. You can come here for an early morning swim, if you wish – although it might be somewhat bracing outside of the summer months.
On Wednesdays, it closes earlier for cleaning at 2pm.
