Lakes Entrance to Eden road trip: Beowa National Park and Eden

Between Mallacoota and Eden, there’s plenty of green forest. The Maramingo Creek Nature Conservation Reserve is just before the New South Wales border, but the best stops are on the NSW side.

The Princes Highway passes between Mount Imlay National Park to the west and Beowa National Park to the east. The latter was formerly known as Ben Boyd National Park, and is well set up for visitors. The coastal walking track from the Green Cape Lighthouse to Bittagabee Bay is a clear highlight.

Things to do in Eden include swimming in the staggering Aslings Beach Rock Pool, enjoying a Cat Balou cruise on Twofold Bay and hearing tales of the old whaling era at the Eden Killer Whale Museum.

Other tours include a private outing along Sapphire Coast and a photography tour focusing on Eden’s beaches.
