Lakes Entrance to Eden road trip: Distance, time & stops

Attractions between Lakes Entrance and Eden: Croajingolong National Park

The road trip continues past the Bemm River chunk of Croajingolong National Park. The McKenzie River Rainforest Walk is a good bet for a stroll.

The Princes Highway then ascends through Lind National Park towards Cann River, the beautiful gateway to the Tamboon Inlet section of Croajingolong National Park. The highlight here is the Point Hicks Lighthouse. Point Hicks was where Lt James Cook’s crew in 1770 first sighted Australia.

Things to do between Lakes Entrance and Eden: Genoa and Mallacoota

Continuing the drive from Lakes Entrance to Eden, Alfred National Park offers forest walks, with Genoa Falls bursting into life after rainfall.

There’s another great diversion opportunity here, with the Mallacoota-Genoa Road heading into wildlife-tastic Mallacoota.

Here, you can have a go at kayaking and kangaroo-spotting at Gipsy Point, spot pelicans on a Mallacoota Inlet cruise or lounge at Betka Beach.

For Mallacoota accommodation, go for the affordable Mallacoota caravan park or the pricier Mallacoota Hotel Motel and Bruces Waterside Units.
