It’s in the far north Queensland town of Mungalli. This is near the famed waterfall circuit that takes in Ellinjaa Falls, Zillie Falls and Millaa Millaa Falls.

The Mungalli Creek Dairy, a short detour off the Palmerston Highway from Innisfail, is notable for its emphasis on making dairy products as natural as possible. Everything here is biodynamic and organic, with the cows and hens grazing on mountain pastures year-round.

For visitors, the main reason to come to the Mungalli Creek Dairy is the café inside the original farmhouse. Here, all dishes are made with locally-sourced ingredients, many of which come from the dairy itself. The café also offers splendid views out towards Mount Bartle Frere, the highest mountain in Queensland.
