Daylesford to Bendigo road trip: Distance, drive time & best stops

Driving from Daylesford to Bendigo: Mount Alexander and Ravenswood

The Midland Highway joins the Calder Highway just outside Harcourt, where you can go wine-tasting at Henry of Harcourt or Blackjack Wines.

The Mount Alexander Regional Park is Harcourt’s most appealing attraction, however. Here, a series of lookouts are linked by the 4km long West Ridge walking track. If picking just one place to stop, Langs Lookout offers a fabulous panorama over the surrounding plains.

Beyond Harcourt, the Castlemaine to Bendigo section of the road trip goes through Ravenswood, home of Killiecrankie Wines.

You’ll also pass between Crusoe Reservoir and Bendigo Regional Park on the way into Bendigo.

Things to do in Bendigo include gold mine tours at the Central Deborah Gold Mine, the Great Stupa, the Bendigo Art Gallery and walking around Lake Weeroona.
