Largest town on the Jurien Bay to Geraldton drive

Dongara, the largest town on the Jurien Bay to Geraldton drive, is on the Brand Highway. 5 Mile Beach and 7 Mile Beach are highlights here, but you can drop by at Russ Cottage for a local history lesson.

Top Dongara experiences include a history and local produce walking tour, plus a behind-the-scenes tour at the Illegal Tender Rum Distillery.

Further possible stops on the Dongara to Geraldton leg of the drive include Flat Rocks Beach, Lucy’s Beach and Greenough Wildlife and Bird Park. Then, before entering Geraldton, you’ve got the Waigan Lakes and the Greenough River Beach.
