The Melbourne to Mallacoota road trip then continues past the Bemm River section of Croajingolong National Park. The McKenzie River Rainforest Walk is a good place for a stroll.

The Princes Highway gets scenic while climbing through Lind National Park towards Cann River.

This gorgeous little town is the gateway to the Tamboon Inlet section of Croajingolong National Park, where you’ll find the Point Hicks Lighthouse. Point Hicks was where Lt James Cook’s crew of the Endeavour first sighted Australia in 1770.

Cann River is where the Monaro Highway coming down from Canberra meets the Princes Highway.
