After the Tennant Creek to Daly Waters leg, the Tennant Creek to Katherine drive continues the garish Pink Panther Roadhouse in Larrimah, then Mataranka. This is easily the most worthwhile stop on the leg from Daly Waters to Katherine is Mataranka. It’s home to the Mataranka Thermal Pool and Bitter Springs in Elsey National Park. Aside from these gorgeous, naturally-heated swimming holes, you can also visit Mataranka Falls.
