Pemberton to Denmark drive: Walpole-Nornalup National Park

The next leg of the drive starts by heading through Walpole-Nornalup National Park. Very short detours from the South Coast Highway will bring you to the Hilltop Lookout and absolutely enormous Giant Tingle Tree.

The Walpole-Nornalup Visitor Centre, full of handy information about the park and local area, is on the highway.

Attractions between Pemberton and Denmark: Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk

The main attraction just off the highway, however, is the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk. As the name suggests, this is an elevated walking path strung though a series of enormous trees. There are also ground-level walks on the site.

A little further along is Denmark Dinosaur World, which is home to a series of model dinosaurs. There are also a few animals to keep the kids happy.

The highway then passes a few nature reserves, and tracks down to ocean beaches, before coming to the outskirts of Denmark. You can tell you’re on the way in by the increasing number of food and drink attractions, starting with Bartholomew’s Meadery.
