Sydney to Terrigal road trip stops: Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park

The motorway threads between national parks, of which Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park has the most for visitors. Take the scenic drive to the Bobbin Head picnic ground and you’ll get wildlife, cracking views plus the 4km return Birrawanna walking track.

To the west, Berowra Waters National Park offers the Berowra Valley Lookout and Galston Gorge. Before reaching the Hawkesbury River, the Muogamarra Nature Reserve opens for six weeks a year during the spring wildflower season.
