Heron Island ferry: Timetable and fare prices from Gladstone
Heron Island ferry fare prices
At present, there are no Gladstone to Heron Island ferry transfers on a Tuesday or Thursday. If you want to get to Heron Island then, you’re going to have to book a considerably more expensive helicopter transfer to the resort.
The helicopter transfers cost $470 one way, while the Heron Island ferry costs $75. It’s not cheap, but that’s a reflection of how far away Heron Island is from the coast. The ferry crossing from Gladstone takes about two hours.
