Leppington Station in Sydney is the terminus of the T2 and T5 train lines. It is primarily of interest for the free parking at the Park and Ride facility.

Leppington Station is in Leppington, a growing south-western suburb of Sydney. Most train users in Sydney will never have cause to go to Leppington Station, but the name is probably familiar as it is the terminus of the South-West Rail Link on the public transport maps. Many trains on the T2 line from the city centre finish at Leppington Station.
Trains to Leppington Station
As well as the T2 line, the T5 line from Richmond also terminates in Leppington. Trains on the T5 line pass through Harris Park, Parramatta and Blacktown on the way to Richmond.

Leppington doesn’t have much to excite tourists. It is primarily a residential suburb with a few DIY and office equipment stores. The Forest Lawn Memorial Park is the main green space, but it doesn’t really hold anything of interest that you wouldn’t see in other, more accessible Sydney parks.

What Leppington Station does have is a large park and ride facility. Now this is potentially of interest to those staying on the outskirts of the city who might wish to make the journey into the centre for a day.
The parking at Leppington Station is free as long as you are taking public transport and paying using the Opal system. You need to tap in and out with the same opal card or linked payment card, and you can park for free for up to 18 hours.
