Is there a Mission Beach to Dunk Island ferry?

Half of the problem, though, is getting there, as there is no scheduled ferry to Dunk Island from Mission Beach.

Instead of a ferry, there are two main ways of getting to Dunk Island. The first, and most expensive way, is chartering a boat through the likes of Mission Beach Charters.

Mission Beach to Dunk Island boat transfer details

The Mission Beach to Dunk Island boat transfer departs from the Clump Point Marine facility at 9am. Boarding closes 10 minutes prior departure.

The transfer time from Mission Beach to Dunk Island is around 25 minutes. Once there, you’ve got around six hours to explore at leisure before the return transfer.

Visitors should be aware that there is limited parking around the Clump Point Marine Facility, and they may have to park 10 minutes’ walk away.
