Being right next to Pambula Beach is a massive bonus. But the thing that sets this Pambula caravan park apart from other Australian caravan parks is the wildlife. Kangaroos bound around the grounds of Discovery Parks Pambula Beach, and are gloriously unafraid of humans.

Pambula makes a decent base for exploring the Sapphire Coast. From there, you can head north towards Mimosa Rocks National Park near Bega, or Magic Mountain Merimbula, Bar Beach and Potoroo Palace in Merimbula.

Go south to Eden, meanwhile, and you can take a Cat Balou whale-watching cruise, swim in the Aslings Beach Rock Pool, visit the Eden Killer Whale Museum and climb the Green Cape Lighthouse.
