The Glebe Markets in Sydney might not be quite as famous as the Rocks Markets, Paddington Markets or Bondi Markets. But venture just west of Sydney CBD on a Saturday, and you’re likely to find all manner of goodies.
When are Glebe Markets open?
The Glebe Markets are open every Saturday between 10am and 4pm. They take place on the grounds of Glebe Public School, at the corner of Derby Place and Glebe Point Road. From Central Station, it’s around a 20 minute walk.
The vibe of these Inner West markets is a little like the vibe of the Inner West itself. As with nearby suburbs Camperdown, Chippendale, Newtown and Erskineville, Glebe attracts the culturally switched-on and curious.
