The Behind The Barrel tour in Byron Bay visits either three breweries and one distillery, or two breweries and two distilleries. The exact itinerary varies a little day by day, but the main breweries visited on the tours are Stone and Wood, Wandana Brewing Company and Seven Mile Brewing Co.

The distilleries visited by the Behind the Barrel tour are chosen from the Cape Byron Distillery, Lord Byron Distillery and Husk Distillers.

There are guided tastings at each stop. For the breweries, this means getting an idea of the different style of beer, pale ales, IPAs, stouts, and lagers.
