Evans Lookout walks

Two of the best walks in the Blue Mountains depart from the Evans Lookout. The 3km Cliff Top walking track winds its way around the cliff edge to the Govetts Leap Lookout.

This Blackheath walk should take about an hour-and-a-half one way, or three hours return. Keep an eye out for birdlife on the way, as plenty of cockatoos and king parrots hang out here.

The nearby Grand Canyon track is a 6.3km loop that heads into the canyon, taking in waterfalls and luscious vegetation. It loops past the Evans Lookout as part of the circuit.

For more detailed information on either walk, visit the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service website.
