Gundabooka National Park walks

Other Gundabooka National Park walks include the 4.8km return Little Mountain walking track. This runs from the Dry Tank campground to the Little Mountain Lookout. It offers plenty of red dirt and mulga woodland on the way, plus wildflowers in spring. You’re also likely to see plenty of wildlife. Kangaroos and emus are abundant in this outback national park.

The toughest walk of the lot is the 5.7km return Valley of the Eagles walk. This climbs the rugged Mount Gunderbooka from the Bennetts Gorge picnic area. Be warned – this is a very steep, rocky walk and you need to be fit to attempt it.
