Beach lovers are in luck, because the next stretch of the Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay drive features several stunners. Sapphire Beach and Moonee Beach are great, as is the wildlife spotting in the Moonee Beach Nature Reserve. You can also see kangaroos, whales and dolphins at the Look At Me Now Headland, just south of Emerald Beach.

The Pacific Highway turns inland after sizable beach town Woolgoolga and surfer favourite Arrawarra. On the way Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre offers an education in local Indigenous heritage.
