Griffith to Wagga Wagga drive: Leeton wineries

There are a few wineries in Leeton, should you wish to stop for tasting. Toorak Winery and Lillypilly Estate require the shortest detours.

Yanco is immediately south of Leeton, and that’s the gateway to several highlights on the Murrumbidgee River. Try Middle Beach for a swim, the Turkey Flat Trail for a walk and McCaughey’s Lagoon for general prettiness. They’re all part of the Murrumbidgee Valley National Park, which was created in 2010 to protect large tracts of land along the river.
