Sydney to the Entrance road trip stops: Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park

The motorway runs between national parks. Of these, Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park is best set up for visitors. Opt for the scenic drive to the Bobbin Head picnic ground and you’ll get native wildlife plus cracking views from the 4km return Birrawanna walking track.

To the west, Berowra Waters National Park brings the Berowra Valley Lookout and Galston Gorge. The Muogamarra Nature Reserve, meanwhile, is only open for six weeks a year during the spring wildflower season.
