Moggill Ferry, Brisbane: Timetable, price and location

The Moggill Ferry in Brisbane costs $2 per car and the first ferry departs at 06.00. It’s an on-demand service so doesn’t have a strict timetable or take bookings.

The Moggill Ferry is a cable ferry that crosses the Brisbane River, technically connecting Brisbane to Ipswich. It operates in much the same way as the Noosa North Shore Ferry, Jardine River Ferry and Daintree River Ferry. There’s no bridge over the river, so a cable ferry acts as a substitute.

Moggill Ferry location

The Moggill Ferry runs between Moggill in Brisbane and Riverview in Ipswich. It bridges a gap in Moggill Road at the Moggill Ferry Reserve, and is essentially part of the road system.
