Birdworld Kuranda species and ticket prices
This aviary near Cairns has one of the largest collections of free-flying birds in Australia. Inside the recreated rainforest habitat, you’ll find Australian favourites such as galahs, cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets. There are some non-Australian species from other rainforest areas of the planet, too – the Amazonian macaws are a good example.
In total, there are more than 350 birds at Birdworld Kuranda, with nearly 60 species represented. Biggest of the lot is the cassowary, the third largest bird species on earth.
Entry tickets for Birdworld Kuranda cost $21, and can be advance-booked online. The attraction is part of the Kuranda Heritage Markets complex.

The opening hours at Kuranda Birdworld are 10am to 4pm daily.
