How many bells are in the Perth Bell Tower?
There are 18 bells in the tower, 12 of which come from the Saint Martin-in-the-Fields Church in London. These bells were given as a gift to Western Australia during the 1988 bicentennial celebrations.
The glass and copper Perth Bell Tower was purpose-built to house these bells, and is open to visitors. It is supposedly the only place in the world where you can watch bells being rung.
Swan Bells observation deck
The other key aspect of the Swan Bells, as the tower is also known, is the sixth floor open air observation deck.
The views from this Observation Deck take in the Swan River and the south of the Perth. Arguably, however, the views from Kings Park are better while also being free.
