What to do in Noosa tomorrow

The best things to do in Noosa tomorrow might provide lasting memories…

There is no excuse to be bored in Noosa, Queensland. If you’re there, congratulations – you’ve arguably picked the best holiday town in Australia.

If you’re at a loose end tomorrow – or the next day – there’s plenty to do. Should you decide to hang out at one of Noosa’s beaches, then that’s a fine choice. But if you’re after a little more, here are seven great, hand-picked options for you…

Walk through the Noosa National Park to Sunshine Beach

The 5.4km Coastal Walk through Noosa National Park brings together a string of fabulous beaches, rock formations and clifftop lookouts. It finishes at sprawling Sunshine Beach, where the Surf Club is a great place for lunch with ocean views.

Cruise through the Everglades

Surrounded by pristine forest and rolling sand dunes, the Noosa Everglades is a spectacular place for seeing wildlife – particularly birds. A three hour cruise through the Everglades heads along mirror-like waterways. A complimentary glass of beer of sparkling wine is thrown in. Find more information and book.

Learn to surf

Noosa is one of the greatest surf spots in Australia – partly because it has so many beaches facing in different directions.

It’s also a brilliant place to learn to surf. A two hour lesson in Noosa Heads aimed at novices should have you at least standing on your board while catching a wave. Find out more information and book.

Go adventure boating

You can combine sightseeing with high speed thrills on a fast rigid inflatable boat. Over the course of a 90 minute cruise, the Noosa Oceanrider boat takes in the natural beauty, but throws in some wind-in-hair, high octane tricks. Find out more information and book.

Kayak with dolphins

Kayaking with dolphins at Double Island Point is a magical experience, but half the fun is getting there. This day trip involves a big section of the Great Beach Drive, and sees you head along epic beaches in a special 4WD vehicle. Find out more information and book.

Try a waterbike

If you wish to explore Noosa’s placid waterways in the most gloriously silly way imaginable, you’d be hard pushed to top a waterbike.

These odd contraptions are somewhere between a bicycle and a catamaran. Use pedal-power to glide along the river. Find out more information and book.

Indulge in the hinterland

Around the small hinterland towns of Maleny and Montville are several artisan food and drink producers. The best way to combine a few of them is on a specialist food and wine tour that drops in at the spots that the guides know do it best. Find out more information and book.

Other possibilities for things to do in Noosa tomorrow include kayaking with stingrays, picnic boat cruises, offshore fishing charters and stand-up paddleboarding.
