7 brilliant Australian beaches for non-swimmers

There are some Australian beaches that are great for surfers, and some that are good for swimmers. But there are also fantastic Aussie beaches for those that don’t want to get wet…

Australian beaches for non-swimmers: Coorong Beach, South Australia

Australia’s longest beach stretches 194km from Cape Jaffa to the Mouth of the Murray River, mainly along South Australia‘s Younghusband Peninsula. You can drive along it, but it’s better to take a cruise from Goolwa, walk over the peninsula’s dunes, and use your feet to dig for pipis. There are so many pipis – or Coorong cockles – here that they are commercially harvested.
