Things to do in Korora, NSW: Treetops Coffs Harbour

Treetops Coffs Harbour is a tree-based adventure park, full of ropes, obstacles and zip-wires. It is similar to the experience offered by TreeClimb Adelaide in South Australia and Thunderbird Park near Tamborine Mountain in Queensland’s Scenic Rim.

It’s also part of the same chain as the Treetops Park in the Cumberland State Forest at West Pennant Hills in Sydney and Ourimbah on the Central Coast.

There are several separate courses, aimed at young children, older children and adults, with dozens of obstacles to conquer. The Treetop Adventure Park experience costs $51 for adults, and can be booked online.

What to do in Korora: Forest Sky Pier at the Sealy Lookout

Treetops Coffs Harbour is on Sealy Lookout Drive, and the Sealy Lookout is more-or-less next door. This is the other major tourist attraction in Korora, NSW. The Sealy Lookout is appealing in its own right, offering splendid views over the forests and coastline. But it is enhanced by the Forest Sky Pier. Ignore the fancy name – the Forest Sky Pier is basically a man-made viewing platform. It stands 15 metres above the natural lookout and is cantilevered to reach out 21 metres above the forest.
