Lithgow to Mudgee drive: Mount Walker and Wolgan Valley
First up out of Lithgow is Marrangaroo National Park to the east. The walk to the top of Mount Walker is a highlight here.
The journey leaves the Great Western Highway and joins the Castlereagh Highway just after Marrangaroo. The turn-off for the Wolgan Valley comes shortly afterwards, just north of Wallerawang.
