Symbio Wildlife Park animal encounters

Some of the traditional Australian wildlife park experiences are available. These include getting a photo with a koala, and being able to walk among a mob of kangaroos, hand-feeding them.

There’s also a farmyard precinct, where you can feed goats and sheep, and see chickens, ducks and guinea pigs.

As well as photo opportunities with the koalas, you can have your pic taken with slightly less cute alligators and snakes. There are also several behind-the-scenes experiences available at extra cost. But several daily interactive presentations come as part of the entry price.

One great aspect of this Illawarra region zoo is that there’s plenty to do aside from looking at the animals. There are picnic areas and a large playground where kids can burn off a bit of energy. Even better, in the summer months there’s a splash park full of water jets to cool down in.
