Perth to Araluen Botanic Park

The distance from Perth CBD to Araluen Botanic Park is 38km. The gardens are a 40 minute drive to the southeast in the suburb of Roleystone.

It’s also possible to visit on a private tour of the Perth Hills from Perth. These tours also visit Lesmurdie Falls, the Kalamunda ZigZag Drive and Mundaring Weir. Bookings should be made online.

Visitors can explore the park on foot, with the main trail being a 1.6km circular loop around the park. This takes in the majority of the park’s highlights.

Araluen Botanic Park closes for a couple of public holidays over the Christmas period, but otherwise is open from 09.00 to 17.00 daily.

Adult admission costs $12 at the time of writing, although children under the age of six years old get in free.
