Can you swim at Elizabeth Beach, NSW?

It is possible to swim at Elizabeth Beach, NSW. Unlike many other nearby beaches, such as Boomerang Beach and Blueys Beach, it doesn’t get hit with big surf. That’s because it faces north to north-east, and is largely protected from the prevailing swells.

That’s bad news for surfers – usually a low shore break is the best you’ll get here. But it is good news for swimmers.

The Pacific Palms Surf Lifesaving Club is also based at Elizabeth Beach. During the summer months, this is the only Pacific Palms Beach with regular lifeguard patrols.
