Melbourne to Eden road trip: Beowa National Park

On the final leg from Mallacoota to Eden, there’s a lot of green forest. The Maramingo Creek Nature Conservation Reserve comes just before the New South Wales border, but the best stops come afterwards.

The Princes Highway has Mount Imlay National Park to the west and Beowa National Park to the east. The latter, formerly known as Ben Boyd National Park, is the best set up for visitors. If picking just one highlight, it’s the coastal walking track from the Green Cape Lighthouse to Bittagabee Bay.

Make the very best of your time: 8 Sapphire Coast experiences to book

Nearer Eden, check out the old Davidsons Whaling Station on Kiah Inlet. The highway then goes passes through Boydtown on Nullica Bay before entering Eden.

Other tours include a private outing around the Sapphire Coast and a photography tour capturing the best of Eden’s beaches.
