Merimbula to Eden drive: Road trip stops
Assuming you’re starting in the centre of Merimbula, the road trip starts out by crossing the Merimbula Bridge over Merimbula Lake. The road then runs right next to your first temptation – Merimbula Beach. This beach – known as Pambula Beach at its southern end – stretches for five kilometres.
Pambula Beach is a lovely place to stay, with Discovery Parks Pambula Beach being the main option. Here, kangaroos graze next to the cabins.
Stick to the Merimbula to Eden drive, however, and you’ll pass the Merimbula Pambula Golf Club on the way into Pambula. This is a small town, but with plenty of endearing places to eat on the main street.
You’ll then pass the Panboola Wetlands and Longstocking Brewery on the way south on the Princes Highway.
Merimbula to Eden drive: Broadwater and Pinnacles Beach

On the way into Eden, there are more marvellous beaches just off the Princes Highway. Long Beach and Pinnacles Beach in the Ben Boyd National Park are very tempting.
