Vivonne Bay beach
Vivonne Beach is a long, U-shaped beach that curves for six kilometres. It has previously been named as the best beach in Australia. Many would argue it is the best beach on Kangaroo Island, although Stokes Bay gives it a run for its money.
Picturesque elements of Vivonne Bay Beach include the white, almost squeaky sand and the jetty at the southern end. There are sloping sand dunes to the north and the waves tend to be relatively gentle.
