Where is Corindi Beach?

Corindi Beach is a relatively small beach at the northern end of the Coffs Coast of New South Wales.

This Coffs Harbour area beach is essentially an extension of Arrawarra Beach to the south and Pipeclay Beach to the south.

Is it safe to swim at Corindi Beach, NSW?

It is reasonably safe to swim at Corindi Beach, NSW. There are two offshore reefs, which take the brunt of the ocean swell.

This means that waves at the beach itself are usually less than half a metre high.

During the summer holidays, there are also surf lifesaver patrols at Corindi Beach. Swimming between the flags is, as ever, advisable.

Walking trails in the Corindi Beach Reserve

The Corindi Beach Reserve is a cultivated green space that starts at the beach and heads north towards the picnic area at Pipeclay Lake.

There are several walking trails that pass through the Corindi Beach Reserve, including the lengthy Solitary Islands Coastal Walk.

This Coffs Coast reserve is a good place for spotting wildlife, including kangaroos and black cockatoos. You can also sometimes see whales and dolphins from the headland.
