Aqua Park in Darwin is a relatively new addition to the Northern Territory capital’s activities list. It is essentially an obstacle course made up of inflatables, but in the water.

The Kids Aqua Park circuit course at the Darwin water park is for children aged four years or above, with a height between 100cm and 150cm. Children must be supervised at arm’s length by an adult.

The minimum age on the main Aqua Park course is six years old. Any children aged six to nine years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Where is Aqua Park Darwin?

Aqua Park Darwin is in the Darwin Recreation Lagoon in the waterfront area of the city, which is protected from crocodiles. It’s next to the Wave Lagoon. Nearby you’ll find the convention centre, World War II Oil Tunnels and Adina Waterfront Darwin hotel. Stokes Hill Wharf, home to the Darwin ferris wheel, Jetty restaurant, Royal Flying Doctor Service Darwin Tourist Facility and Darwin Harbour Cruises, is just behind it.

Sessions at both sections of Aqua Park Darwin last about an hour. The first five to ten minutes of this is a safety briefing, although well-trained lifeguards are on hand at all times.
